Since writing the songs for Cocoon I have been working on new ideas and wanted to have a place where I could share them while they are still new.

I feel in a similar place to where I was when I first started writing songs, just letting the words come out without controlling them too much. Having just released my 8th album I was getting to a point where I wasn’t letting myself repeat anything that I had already written about, but have come around to thinking that it’s okay to go back to an idea and find new ways of thinking about it.

So I am being kind to myself and letting myself write anything at all, and it would be great to be able to share these songs with a small audience of people who I know are really interested in supporting my music.

I will make simple videos / demos and post at least one a month, along with any thoughts and images that I might have to share. It will give me a focus, maybe similar to how it used to feel going to open mic nights in the early days when I would work on a song knowing I was going to share it just as it is.

The demo recordings will be yours to keep.
